The Junior Account Manager will work closely with customers at all points along the customer fulfillment chain, enabling the successful continuation and escalation of profitable partnerships. Responsibilities will include: reviewing customer operational processes, incorporating the use of our software and services, recommending improvements to processes, evaluating the value of those improvements and monitoring the ongoing relationship with the customer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Takes the primary role in day-to-day account and customer relationship management
Develops a clear understanding of customers’ external and internal business operations and acts as consultant working closely with customers to improve their operational processes
Responsible for Customer satisfaction – measures, monitors and communicates customer satisfaction to all customer-facing areas of the company
Discovers and investigates potential opportunities for account growth and new business and works with Senior Account Managers to grow their territories
Communicates deadlines, assigns area responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of customer projects to company and customer
Becomes an expert in the use of all company and competition software product and service offerings
Handles customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives
Identifies retention risk and work proactively to eliminate that risk with senior team members

Education and Experience

2+ years’ experience managing customer-facing projects and accounts
Experienced in the simultaneous management of multiple project plans
Proven track record of producing high-quality and timely deliverables
Specialized Skills or Abilities

Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Familiar with project management concepts, practices, and procedures
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and maintain personal work performance while addressing multiple priorities
Strong time management and organizational skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools specifically Outlook, Excel, Word
Communication Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of information furnished in written and oral form.


The physical demands required of the position include prolonged sitting; extended periods of computer use and keyboarding; and a normal range of hearing and vision.
